Impromptu spirits tasting with the team from Shelter Point Distillery who visited Port Alberni last night bearing samples of their latest gin and flagship single malt whisky.
We compared them to a number of spirits that I am evaluating for the Kingsway Pub including Michter's Bourbon, and Dewar's 25. We compared their gin against the Gunpowder Irish Gin and Uncle Val's both of which are currently available at the Kingsway. I am looking forward to stocking Shelter Point whisky at the pub.
